Cross Seminole Trail

The Cross Seminole Trail begins from the south at the intersection of Aloma Ave and Howell Branch Rd where it meets the Cady Way Trail in Winter Park, and heads north where it intersects with the Seminole Wekiva Trail at the pedestrian bridge over I-4 in Lake Mary.

The Trail is currently comprised of three separate sections that will eventually connect to create an impressive 23-mile continuous trail. A portion of the Trail is designated as the Florida National Scenic Trail.

Stretching from Orlando's densely populated outskirts to the sleepy bedroom communities of Oviedo, Winter Springs, and Lake Mary, the asphalt rail-trail provides crucial residential links in an automobile-dominated region. Throughout the day locals utilize it to get around town or simply for exercise.

The Black Hammock trailhead offers parking and restroom facilities and is located at 1571 East SR 434 in Winter Springs just west of the Central Florida Greenway (417).

The Layer Elementary School trailhead is located at 4201 SR 419 in Winter Springs.
